We are expanding our Business Development group at GB Resources coincident with our growth and expansion. Our Company is a fully integrated recycler and provides environmentally friendly services. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, committed, and ambitious sales candidate to enhance their expertise in recycling industry. The ideal candidate must be driven to be successful, strategic and demonstrate superior communication skills and customer empathy. The position is responsible for sales and service to new clients within Southern Ontario .

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong sales relationships at all levels, including senior management or “C” level and within small, medium and large market segments.
  • Creative, persistent and collaborative abilities to prospect and uncover opportunities.
  • Manages multiple, ongoing opportunities, particularly focusing on selling services.
  • Addresses customer’s operational and environmental objectives, needs and requirements.
  • Recommend solutions and link customer objectives to total value solution and competitive advantages.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with all internal and external channels.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a business development role in B2B sales. Candidates in the metal and waste management industries will be preferred.
  • College Diploma or University degree is desirable
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service with strong integrity.
  • Experience with complex and long sales cycles preferred.
  • The ability to communicate and present effectively. Must be team focused but still able to work independently.
  • Highly proficient computer user, specifically MS Office and presentation tools.
  • Strategic and driven with a proven track record of developing new business.
  • Motivated, collaborative, results oriented, competitive and resourceful.
